How to add friends to Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed

Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed uses the platform you play on to invite friends and play with them. So, in order to add or invite your friends, you first need to add them to the respective platform i.e. Epic Games, PSN or Xbox. For cross-platform play with friends, console players also need to link their platform account to their Epic Games account. Here’s how you can add friends to them:

  • epic games
    1. Open the Epic Games Launcher and navigate to the Friends tab.
    2. Click the “Add Friend”icon.
    3. Now, enter your friend’s email address or display name in this text field and click the “Submit”button.
    4. Wait for your friend to accept your request.
  • PSN
    1. Press the PS button and go to the control center.
    2. Here, select Game Base, then on the Friends tab, click on Find Players.
    3. Enter your friend’s online ID.
    4. Once their profile appears, click Add Friend.
    5. Wait for your friend to accept your request and add you to PSN.
  • Xbox
    1. Press the Xbox button on your controller.
    2. Click People, then select Find Someone.
    3. Enter your friend’s gamertag.
    4. Finally, select “Add Friend”to add their Xbox profile to your friends list.
    5. When your friend adds you back, you will become friends on Xbox.

How to invite friends

  1. Launch Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed.
  2. Go to the “Fire Department”tab. Alternatively, you can also use the computer in the central lobby.
  3. Add your friends from Epic Games or other platforms if you’re playing on console.
  4. You can create a group of up to 5 players. Here 4 players play as the Ghostbusters and the 5th player plays as the Ghost.

Keep in mind that you cannot play with friends who have not completed the tutorial. Oh, and they also need to be added to the respective platform you plan to use to invite them.
