How to use relics in God of War Ragnarok
Relics and sword hilts are special moves, and their use is quite beneficial when facing strong opponents. As mentioned earlier, there are 14 of them that you can go through in nine worlds. However, they all have different uses and abilities for Kratos to find them all will take time.
However, the way to use them is the same for each of them. So if you want to use relics in God of War Ragnarok just hold L1 and press Circle. Be sure to keep an eye out for legendary chests.
All relics and their location in GoW Ragnarok
Since there are 14 relics in God of War Ragnarok, you will need their location if you are going to find and use them:
- Talisman of Meign – You can unlock it in Quest For Tyr, part of the main story.
- Glaive of Dodher – You can unlock this during the Payback mission after defeating Fiske.
- Dainsleif’s Handle – During the Lost Treasure quest, collect Sevfthorn and craft this relic at the Khudra Brothers Workshop.
- Gram handle. While in the Temple of Light, you can unlock it in the Secret of Groa.
- Skofnung’s Handle – During the King’s Grave, unlock this relic by defeating Hrolf in Midgard.
- Angrvadall’s Handle – Defeat the Gravel Belly in the Gift of the Desert Door, then craft it with Gambantein Skirnir.
- Rydill’s Handle – Defeat Olaf Nautson in Patronage of Animal Instincts, then craft him with Bilskirnir’s Crackle.
- Hofud’s Handle – While in Vanaheim, you can unlock it by defeating Heimdall during Creations of Prophecy.
- Forsbrandr’s Hilt – By completing the Mercy of the Eye of Odin quest, you can unlock it by defeating the Raven Keeper.
- Huldra Project – Craft this at the blacksmith shop for 10,000 Hacksilver.
- Turfing Ephesus – Defeat Blatonn in the Abandoned Village and then craft from the Nara Goblet.
- Mystical relic – you can find it in the Lake of Nine area in Midgard behind an ice wall that you can destroy with your spear.
- Mozognir’s Call – You can find him on the top floor of the Aesir Prison ruins in Niflheim.
- Hrotti’s Handle – While in the Plains in Vanaheim, you can get this by defeating the 2nd and 3rd Oathguard bosses.
