How to open Nornir chest on Alberich Island in God of War Ragnarok
While it is not necessary to open these chests to progress in the game, we recommend that you find them as they will increase your stats. One of these chests is located on the island of Alberich, located north of Bounty Bay in Svartalfheim. Once you find it, opening this chest can be quite tricky. You can open the Nornir chest on the Isle of Alberich in God of War Ragnarok by breaking the three runes protecting it. One of these runes is hidden and the other is time sensitive. To break these runes:
- Go to the pillar on the left and ask Atreus to shoot the jade part of the beam. This will reveal a hidden rune.
- The second above the chest and the easiest
- The third one is hidden behind the gate and will require you to hit the rotating panel with the Leviathan Axe. Don’t hit him with a weak throw (L2 + R1). Use a stronger throw twice (L2 + R2) and hit the rune quickly.
- Then go to the rune on the left and click on it.
- Lastly, hit the one above the chest, in that order.
- And voila! The Nornir Chest is unlocked.
By doing this, you will be rewarded with the Horn of Blood Mead. Collecting four of them will increase Kratos’ maximum Fury.
