The Goodbye Volcano High has been officially delayed until 2023.
Already delayed last year due to the narrative reboot and the difficulties of working remotely amid the global pandemic, Goodbye Volcano High won’t release in 2022 either. Independent Canadian studio KO_OP has made the difficult decision to delay the launch to summer 2023 :
It was a learning experience for us. We are producing an ambitious project for the size of our studio, with over 6000 voice lines and lots of specific animations. We are very attached to this original creation and the story we are telling. We want to offer something that is in line with what we have always imagined. This is what you deserve. We understand that this delay may be disappointing, but we are convinced that this is the right decision and the wait is worth it.

Coming to PS5, PS4 and PC (Steam), Goodbye Volcano High is a cinematic adventure about love, change and the end of an era. Players will need to guide Fang through his final year of high school to fix some things to develop his story before time runs out.
