Instagram launches its post planner for content creators and businesses
The Meta photo and video sharing platform offers businesses and content creators the ability to schedule their videos, photos, and carousels to be published within the app itself 75 days in advance. Instagram has been testing the feature over the past few weeks, allowing a small percentage of its community to access the tool before rolling it out on a larger scale, but still on a limited basis, today.
To access this new feature, eligible users must go to “Advanced Settings”after creating a post but before sharing it with their followers. From there, they will be able to enable the “Schedule this post”option and select the date and time they want it to be posted. Then you need to go back to the desired message and click “Schedule”. According to TechCrunch, which revealed the existence of this test, scheduled posts are grouped under “Scheduled Content”accessed directly through the hamburger menu. Sure, the process could be simpler, but this feature eliminates the need to use the Creator Studio site or any third-party app.
Achievements are also displayed for content creators.
At this stage, no one knows if this feature will ever be available to the general public. In any case, at the moment, Instagram has not mentioned rolling out to all users. In the same post that this planner announced, Instagram also mentions Achievements. Creators can unlock them by doing certain things, such as collaborating with another creator and completing interactive polls and quizzes.
