How to summon a blue axolotl in minecraft
The Blue Axolotl is the rarest of all axolotls available in the game. There are only two ways to get the Blue Axolotl.
Using the console command
Now, if you’re looking for an easy way to make a blue axolotl your pet, you can use the console command in the Java and Bedrock versions of Minecraft. You need to make sure cheats are enabled in your game.
For Java version:
- Command – /summon minecraft:axolotl ~ ~ ~ {Option: 4}
To activate cheats:
- Go to your Menu.
- Click on the “Open on LAN”option and you’ll see an “Allow Cheats”option.
- Turn it on and click Start LAN World.
For the basic version:
- Command – /summon axolotl ~ ~ ~ minecraft:entity_born
To activate cheats in the Bedrock version:
- Open menu
- Go to settings and click “Game”.
- Scroll down the right screen until you see “Activate Cheats”.
- Click on the slider and it should turn green
This is how you can easily summon the Blue Axolotl in Minecraft. Make sure you are close to a body of water because axolotls cannot survive long on land.
Axolotl breeding
Another way to get a blue axolotl is to breed axolotls. Now this method is tricky as the chance of getting a Blue Axolotl is 1/1200. But if you do not want to cheat, you will need a lot of patience. For breeding axolotls:
- Find a warm ocean biome with a huge supply of tropical fish.
- Fill your buckets with these tropical fish.
- You will need two buckets of fish to hatch two axolotls.
- Build a pool or pools near the ocean where axolotls can breed.
- Make sure they are wide enough to get inside and high enough not to run away.
- Start breeding them until you get a Blue Axolotl.
