In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you start out as a student at the Pokemon Academy, unlike its predecessors. It’s a completely new take on the series. On this journey through the vast region of Paldea, you will have the opportunity to change your appearance. Unlike previous parts where you have to be in a certain place, in this game you can change clothes at any time. In this article, we’ll show you how to dress up as Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
How to dress up as Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you can change clothes by simply pressing the D-pad to the left. A menu will open where you can change your outfit with the items you have purchased throughout the game. However, this option will not be available if you are new to the game. You will need to complete the First Day of School quest to unlock it. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be given the option to change into four standard outfits. This is the preset uniform for each season, for example:
- spring form
- Summer form
- Autumn form
- winter form
As you progress in the game, you can buy new clothing items to change your Pokemon Scarlet and Violet outfit.
Where to buy new clothes
Large cities such as Mesagosa, Cascarrafa and Levincia have several clothing stores. You can visit these shops to buy new clothes and accessories. These stores will be marked on the map with a T-shirt icon. Although each store will sell different items of clothing. So you will have to explore every store to complete your outfit. Luckily, the clothes are on display. This way you don’t have to worry about entering every store. Once you’ve bought accessories, they all end up in your clothing menu. You can then change the outfit at any time. Also, if you want to remove a part of an accessory, press the “X”on it.
