TrollApps has been updated to version 1.1 with iOS 14 support, updated user interface and other requested features.

Just yesterday, we showed you a new app called TrollApps by haxi0 that tries to offer an App Store-like experience for TrollStore compatible apps to make it easier for users to find the different things they can install with it. This is achieved by bringing all these fragmented projects together in one user-friendly place.

Today TrollApps has been updated to version 1.1 with some notable improvements that we think we should let you know about.

From what we can learn from the announcement on Twitter and on the project’s GitHub page, version 1.1 of TrollApps contains the following changes:

  • Support for iOS and iPadOS 14 devices
  • Updated user interface that looks much nicer
  • Ability to copy the download link to a file. ipa
  • Descriptions for individual apps are available at TrollApps
  • Better options menu with the ability to remove caches
  • Installed apps now show “Open”instead of “Get”.
  • Updated API

Since I’m using a jailbroken iOS 14 device instead of an iOS 15 device, I was really blown away by today’s update. After trying it out, I found that the user interface is much cleaner than before, and that almost all of my criticisms from my original email have been addressed in version 1.1, including the addition of descriptions for each app.

If you’ve been thinking about getting TrollApps, but the iOS 15-only support barrier and lack of information about what you’re installing has been holding you back, then version 1.1 should be one of the next things you download and install with TrollStore on your computer. device.

You can learn more about TrollApps and find all links to download it using TrollStore by visiting the project’s GitHub page.
