Sonic Frontiers gave its fans not only an addictive open world game, but also added a lot of boss battles. In every boss fight, there is no one-size-fits-all tactic that will help you defeat them. Tips for Defeating Asura in Sonic Frontiers
Phase 1
The first phase of this fight is pretty simple. You just need to approach Asura and make him attack you. Asura will throw out her hand to stomp on Sonic, who is easy to dodge. When this happens, several blue rings will appear on his hand. Run into those blue rings and you’ll get a boost. In this way, you can gain enough momentum to reach the top of the Asura. Once you’re here, start attacking the pillars. Once it is destroyed, the enemy’s entire arm will collapse and you will move on to Phase 2.
Phase 2
From this point on, things get more complicated. Asura will create a wall of red rings on her second arm. While these red rings won’t harm Sonic’s health, they can still act as a barrier. You can get pushed back every time you hit those fast approaching red rings. Be sure to avoid these rings by using the boost button to jump over them. When you get to the top, you will notice a red ring around the second pillar. These barriers can hurt Sonic, so be sure to jump over them and knock down the pillar.
Phase 3
As soon as you destroy the third column in the battle against Asura in Sonic Frontiers, you will move on to the last and final phase. This phase is quite difficult to pass, so you need to be especially careful. But don’t panic, fight your way to the top using the same technique. Asura may try to shake you off, try to immediately keep your balance by jumping into the air twice and staying over the barrier to attack the pillar. As soon as you destroy the last column, your opponent will collapse and the battle will come to an end.
Portal Gears will help you unlock cyberspace portals. This, in turn, will allow you to access various mini-games from previous classic Sonic games. Despite all your problems, you will receive Portal Gear after defeating this boss. However, there is another way to earn 2 additional Portal Gear. They are located at the feet of Asura. Use your Cyclops ability to make Asura lift his leg. Once that’s done, use the homing shot. This will break Asura’s leg and a gear will fall out of it. Do this for his other leg as well to get another Portal Gear.
