In conjunction with 18 National Qualifiers, the French Unicorn is offering its players a new free-to-play community game themed around the Qatar World Cup. Nicholas Julia, CEO and co-founder of Sorare, explains: “Sorare: Global Cup’22 repeats one of the greatest sporting events. It is the most iconic, famous and popular international tournament on the planet and has hosted some of football’s most legendary matches, players and champions, including England in 1966 and France in 1998 and 2018.”
In this way, the two million users of the platform, launched in 2018, will be able to make up their team of 8 players from the national qualifiers associated with the event, including France, Germany, Argentina, Spain and the Netherlands, and compete to try to win.
“With less than two weeks left before the World Cup, we wanted to offer Sorare users a new experience. After each game day, fans will be able to win prizes, including new cards for their teams, and for the best players in the league – merchandise, VIP tickets to matches and unique experiences.
