FromSoftware’s Elden Ring was named Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2022.
While all eyes were on the highly anticipated Game of the Year award at The Game Awards 2022, the awards for Best Game Direction, Best Independent Film, Best Soundtrack, and Best Performance generated a lot of interest. The novelty of this year was also the price of a better adaptation. If Elden Ring won the sacred GOTY, then Sony Interactive Entertainment won the day with six prizes, including Best Interpretation of Kratos thanks to a performance by Christopher Judge, and Best Sound Design and Best Soundtrack/Music for God of War alone.
