The TrollStore permanent signature utility for iPhone and iPad running iOS and iPadOS 14.0-15.4.1 (and some 15.5 betas) was updated for the second time on Sunday, moving from version 1.3.1 to version 1.3.2 with additional new features and enhancements that users can take advantage of.
Developer opa334 took to Twitter Sunday afternoon to share the latest release, noting that it will address the bold font issues reported by many users, in addition to the following updates, which are noted in the changelog on the project’s GitHub page:
- Allow TrollStore to access Metal, fixes app crashes when activating bold text
- Add information about which TCC APIs / MobileGestault Keys the application can access.
In case you don’t remember, the previous version v1.3.1 fixed app crashes in circumstances related to pressing the cancel button on an app install warning. Opa334 noted at the time that it was still investigating a glitch involving using bold text, and it appears TrollStore’s solution for accessing Apple’s Metal graphics API was the solution. However, this update isn’t particularly surprising as we know it’s coming.
We recommend that all TrollStore users using version 1.3.1 or earlier update to the latest version to take advantage of the latest bug fixes and improvements, especially since this will fix two potential crash effects in addition to adding new features.
The TrollStore app will allow you to download any file all the time. ipa to your iPhone or iPad without having to re-sign it every seven days, as is usually required when using an alternative method such as AltStore or Sideloady. This is because TrollStore uses a powerful CoreTrust bug that affects certain versions of iOS and iPadOS, so it tricks the operating system into trusting those apps indefinitely.
This is especially useful for jailbreak applications, but it can be used with other files as well. ipa. It’s also worth noting that apps installed and signed through TrollStore have elevated privileges, allowing them to do things that normal App Store apps can’t, such as tweaking certain features of the iOS or iPadOS mobile operating system, as we see with apps. like Mugunghwa and TrollTools.
