Unsigncuts allows jailbroken iOS 15 users to import any .shortcut file, signed or not

A few months ago, we showed you a jailbreak tweak called Importcuts by iOS developer 0xilis that can be used to bypass Apple’s requirement for signed shortcuts to import certain files. shortcut on iOS and iPadOS 13 and later. But it won’t be the last time we see something related to shortcuts from this developer.

This week, 0xilis released another free jailbreak tweak called Unsigncuts that removes the requirement for signed shortcuts to import files. shortcut on iOS and iPadOS 15.

After installing Unsigncuts, you can import any file. shortcut to the Shortcuts app on an iOS or iPadOS 15 device, just as you would on iOS 12 and earlier. This means you can easily import old or outdated shortcuts to a jailbroken iOS or iPadOS 15 device.

With no options to customize, Unsigncuts is easy to use. You just find the unsigned shortcut you want to import to your iOS or iPadOS 15 device and then do so without restriction.

While the developer touts Apple’s signed labels feature as an innovation killer, we just think you should have the right to install any label you want on your device without the signing process getting in the way. With that in mind, Unsigncuts seems like a useful release.

Since the Palera1n jailbreak is the only iOS and iPadOS 15 jailbreak available at the time of this writing, it’s worth noting that Unsigncuts is only compatible with this particular jailbreak. It’s also important to note that Palera1n is not a rootless jailbreak, and that Unsigncuts won’t work out of the box with a rootless iOS or iPadOS 15 jailbreak if one comes along.

For those interested, Unsigncuts is available as a free download from the Havoc repository through your favorite package management app. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS and iPadOS 15.x devices locked with palera1n and is publicly available on the developer’s GitHub page.
