Respawn Entertainment has decided to end support for Apex Legends Mobile.
Available on iOS via the App Store and on Android via Google Play starting May 17, 2022, Respawn Entertainment will shut down Apex Legends Mobile’s multiplayer shooter servers on May 1:
We have made the painful decision to close the mobile version of Apex Legends. This decision is not easy to make. Factors beyond our control have prevented us from maintaining the high quality of gameplay and content that our players deserve. We are extremely grateful to our players and teams for joining us in Apex Legends Mobile, even if only for a little while. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything.

American publisher Electronic Arts explains the end of Apex Legends Mobile:
Despite a good start to the mobile version of Apex Legends, the current experience has not lived up to the expectations of our players. After several months of working with our development partner, we made a joint decision to stop tracking. Our love for the Apex Legends universe and our players is unwavering. We look forward to exploring this universe, its characters and its stories with you.
Battlefield Mobile is cancelled, Industrial Toys is closing
Battlefield Mobile, in development for three years by Industrial Toys, acquired by Electronic Arts in 2018 and closed this year, has been canceled:
We’ve made the decision to stop developing the mobile version of Battlefield. As the industry matures and our strategy to create an interconnected Battlefield ecosystem evolves, we have decided to change course to best fulfill our vision for the license and meet the expectations of our players. We remain committed to unleashing the great potential of Battlefield. We are hard at work developing Battlefield 2042 and preparing our future Battlefield games in our studios around the world.
