Should I open a repository at Hogwarts Legacy?

Closer to the end of Hogwarts Legacy, you will have to make the final choice. In doing so, you must decide whether you want to keep the repository enabled or open it. As Ranrok approaches, it’s only a matter of time before you make your choice. Keeping the vault sounds like a noble choice, but what happens if you choose to open it in Hogwarts Legacy? Here’s everything you need to know.

Is it possible to open the vault of ancient magic in Hogwarts Legacy?

Selecting “Open Vault”will activate the “Evil Ending”in Hogwarts Legacy. In doing so, your character will use the power of the Vault of Ancient Magic to fight Ranrok. During this conversation, Professor Fig will ask if you are sure about this or not. However, in the end, he will agree, and the Vault will be finally opened. In the process, a lot of debris will fall on Fig and eventually he will die. But it will make him disappear in a way no one could have imagined.

Whereas, choosing to save the Vault instead of opening it in the Hogwarts Legacy will trigger the Normal ending. An ending where you don’t use Contained Ancient Magic and defeat Ranrok by yourself. Although Professor Fig dies, even if you choose to leave the Vault Content.

So what’s the difference if Professor Fig dies in both cases? If you open the Vault, Professor Feig’s death will not be heroic. On the other hand, if you restrain him, Professor Feig’s death will be more heroic and noble.

In this case, it depends only on you whether you want to open a repository in the Hogwarts Legacy or not. It will just change a few cutscenes and nothing else. What’s more, the true Hogwarts Legacy ending will remain the same when both options are selected.

I hope you make the right choice whether or not to open the Vault in Hogwarts Legacy. While you’re here, be sure to check out our Hogwarts Legacy page for more content like this.
