How to get a flashlight pistol attachment in Sons of the Forest
While it may seem rare, it’s fairly easy to find a pistol flashlight attachment in Sons of the Forest. This is easy to trace from the original crash site. However, there are 2 items that are required to achieve it, namely:
- Rope gun – you need to use ziplines to get across
- Rebreather – You will need to dive underwater for a long time.
Location at the foot of the mountain in the center. You can follow the rivers around it which lead to the cave. Once you get there, you’ll know you’re in the right place when you see three impaled corpses right outside the cave.
You can enter the cave by destroying the wooden barricades, you will come to a huge opening. This gap cannot be crossed with a rope cannon zipline. Use the rope gun to cross the chasm, then dive into the water. Here you will need a rebreather.
Coming out of the water at the other end, you will be attacked by enemies, so be careful. As you progress, you will fall into the abyss at some point, and this must happen no matter what you do.
In the room you get to, you will find your flashlight pistol. It should be kept next to the lamp near some corpses. There will be enemies here too, so it’s advisable that you clear it before you get it.
