Once Lodgok tells you to enter the Witch’s tomb on your own, you’ll know that trouble (and fun) awaits you. If you’re on this quest called Urtkot’s Helmet and need help while you complete it, check out this guide which will show you the way.
Make sure you’ve already spoken to Sirona at the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade, and then talked to Lodgok at the Boar’s Head Inn. After that, he will ask you to meet at the Witch’s Tomb. Its location will be marked on the map.

Collector’s Cave
As you enter the tomb, you will come across a door with three moths built into it. The trick is to use Lumos to collect the moth and make it float above your wand. Then return to the door and turn off the Lumos spell. The moth will attach itself to the door. The third moth will be present in the passage to your left.
Note: In this quest, you will come across similar doors further on. The only problem will be finding the moths and bringing them to the door in the correct order.
Further you will meet a door with a slot. Use Depulso on the door to open it and there will be the third moth you are looking for. The first two will be present nearby.
Fighting Inferi
Inferi are an enemy type that can be damaged by fire, so use Confringo, Incendio and the power of ancient magic to deal massive damage. In addition, you can also throw fire pots at them. Make sure you assign talent points to help you in this battle.
How to power the moth structure in the center
Use Lumos to attract the moth to your wand and then place it on the moth structure in the center of the room. You can then turn it on by using Depulso on it. This will raise a nearby platform that you can use to climb up to higher ground. You will have to use Depulso several times in a row to raise the platform higher. This is how you can get to the third moth in this room.
Keep going until you find a room with a hole. There will be a hanging box that you can drop using Basic Cast to break the rope. Jump down and enter a new room where you will encounter more Inferi.
In this room, you will need to select the Moth from the room and turn on the moth shaped center piece. Again, use Depulso to get to a higher level with the moving platform. This will allow you to grab another Lumos Moth.
Keep in mind that there are 4 moths in this room, so you can leave one on the central part so you can easily use Depulso when you need to while solving this puzzle.
If you are stuck between Lumos or Depulso, do the following: add the Moth to the pillar to the left of the door on the hill. Then climb up there using the platform. THEN use Lumos to attract the moth and use it. (It will be easy to understand from the video below)
You will then enter a room that is the Witch’s resting place, but the Helm is nowhere to be found. Explore the room, grab what you need, and exit through the wall into the northern area of Hogwarts.
Talk to Lodgok
He will tell you about the camp of thieves where you can find and return the Helm (Helm Of Urtkot). Fight Ashwinder’s assassins and then take the chest that contains the helmet. Then return to Lodgok and give it to him.
