How to get to the burning rocks in God Of War Ragnarok

Ragnarok builds on the themes and tone of the previous installment with great success. The realm of Midgard introduced to us in the first game has been expanded in style, with players now able to visit nine worlds compared to three in the previous game. One such area that seems to give hints to players is Muspelheim and its region of Burning Rocks. Here is a short guide on how to get to the Flaming Cliffs in God of War Ragnarok.

How to get to Flaming Rocks in God of War Ragnarok

As with all regions of the game, there are several collectibles in Burning Cliffs:

  • Nornir Chest – From the Mysterious Gate, turn right towards the falling lava and follow the ledge. Follow the path down to the stone blocking your path on the right and break it with your spear. The chest should be at the end of this path, and now just complete the puzzle to reveal what’s inside.
  • Legendary Chest – Climb down the cliff as soon as you leave the Mystic Gate and turn right towards the cave. The chest will contain a Muspelheim Seed or Divine Ashes if you already have 2 Seeds.
  • Raven of Odin. Move to the right of the legendary chest to find a raven sitting on a rock surrounded by lava. Throw your ax at him to deflect.

Visit this location after you finish the game to unlock the Remnats of Asgard and Lore Rune chest for Valhalla Rises.

That’s all Flaming Cliffs has to offer in God Of War Ragnarok. Check out our guides on how to find Frostfinger and other God of War Ragnarok guides.
