Assassin’s Creed Codename RED will be the next evolution of the open-world RPG based on the Assassin’s Creed license from Ubisoft and will take players to feudal Japan.
Marc-Alexis Cote, Executive Producer of the Assassin’s Creed License at Ubisoft, reveals the first details about Assassin’s Creed Codename RED, a future rival to Ghost of Tsushima (PlayStation exclusive):
RED is a codename. This is our next premium flagship game and the future of our open world RPGs based on Assassin’s Creed. It is developed by Ubisoft Quebec, the studio behind Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, with the creative direction of Jonathan Dumont. This will allow players to explore one of the most anticipated settings of their franchise, Feudal Japan, and they will be able to bring a very powerful shinobi fantasy to life.

Assassin’s Creed Codename RED will be released after Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which is expected in 2023 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Amazon Luna, PC through the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store, and through the Ubisoft Subscription service +.
