2022 Acer Nitro 5 with 12th Gen Intel Core Processors, 144Hz Display Launched: Price, Specs

Acer has announced the Nitro 5 gaming laptop. The new laptop from the Taiwanese manufacturer is equipped with 12th generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series GPU. The Nitro 5 starts at $1120. Acer Nitro 5 2022 Price, Availability

The base variant of the Acer Nitro 5 with an Intel Core i5-12500H processor paired with 8GB of RAM starts at $1,120 in the country. The top variant with a Core i7-12700H processor and 16 GB of RAM costs $1,451.

The laptop is now available in exclusive Acer, Amazon, Croma and Vijay Sales stores.

The new Nitro 5 gaming laptop features a 15.6-inch LED-backlit FHD+ ComfyView TFT IPS display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 16:9 aspect ratio and 144Hz refresh rate.

The laptop uses the latest 12th generation Intel Core chipsets. Consumers can choose between two processor options: i5-12500H or Intel Core i7-12700H, as well as up to 12GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM and 512GB of M.2 PCIe SSD + 1TB 2.5-inch hard drive. Gaming on the laptop is supported by Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics with 4GB of DDR6 memory.

Nitro 5 runs Windows 11 Home out of the box and features a quad-zone RGB keyboard and a dedicated NitroSense key. Other Nitro 5 features include dual 2W speakers, Killer Ethernet E2600 for wired connection, and Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i wireless adapter.

There’s a 57.5Wh quad-cell battery, multi-gesture touchpad, HDMI 2.1, Bluetooth v5.1, and Thunderbolt 4. The Nitro 5 features a 720p HD webcam that’s available with temporary noise cancellation and dual microphones.

The company claims that the new gaming laptop has a redesigned chassis with dual-fan cooling to keep temperatures down. Users can also control the fan speed using the pre-installed NitroSense app.
