Acer has announced a number of products as part of its portfolio for 2022. The latter includes the Acer Swift X, a premium line of high performance laptops, as well as two new all-in-ones, the Aspire C24 and Aspire C27. Of the new products, the 16-inch variant of Acer Swift X (2022) is especially interesting, which offers a new Intel graphics processor, Intel Arc.
Starting with the 16-inch Acer Swift X variant itself, the laptop offers 12th generation Intel Alder Lake processors in a peak configuration with 12 cores according to XDA developers. Based on the Alder Lake nomenclature, this is an Intel Core i5-12600H with a Turbo Boost clock speed of 4.5GHz and a TDP of 45W. This is paired with an Intel Arc GPU, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, a 1TB SSD, an optional PCIe Gen3 slot for storage expansion at a later stage, a 59Wh battery, and a 16″2560 x 1600 pixel display, 16:10. The laptop weighs about 1.8 kg.
The 14-inch variant of the Acer Swift X 2022 has similar specs, minus the GPU where it features a GeForce RTX 3050 Ti. It also gets a smaller display with a 14-inch 16:10 resolution screen at 2240 x 1400 pixels. It weighs about 1.4 kg, and the thinnest is 18 mm. Both variants of the Swift X offer two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A 3.2 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm audio port.
The Acer Aspire C24 and C27 all-in-ones are also equipped with 12th generation Intel Alder Lake processors. They come in understandable display sizes (ie 24 inches and 27 inches respectively) as well as an integrated GeForce MX550 GPU. The all-in-ones offer 64GB of DDR4 RAM, 1TB PCIe Gen3 SSDs and 2TB hard drives for 3TB of storage, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity. One Thunderbolt 4 port is also offered. Meanwhile, the C27 also features a 5MP webcam with stereo microphones to make sure you’re ready for remote work.
