The new AirBell accessory hides the Apple AirTag personal item tracker inside a small, universal mechanical bell that can be installed on any bike.
AirBell: Easily track your bike with Find My
If Apple makes an e-bike, you can bet it will have Find My and look great. But now, with the new AirBell accessory, you can keep track of your not-so-fancy bike.
Priced at $18.99 on Amazon in the US and €24.99 on Amazon in Europe, the AirBell is a mechanical bicycle bell that hides the $29 Apple AirTag tracker (sold separately). Once installed on your bike, you can use the Apple Find My app to track your bike’s location on a map.
This is especially handy when your bike is stolen, which often happens with city bikes. The Apple Personal Items Tracker is small enough to fit in a small bell, has a battery that lasts at least a year, and is water and dust resistant.
AirBell and handlebar thickness
Thomas Ricker of The Verge wrote that the only potential issue with this lever accessory is the handlebar thickness.
The AirBell is designed to work with the 22mm handlebar found on most bikes. There is also a 31.8mm AirBell for newer road and gravel bikes. However, now it is sold only in Europe, and deliveries in the US will begin next week. The plastic clamp on my 22mm review block is too stiff to bend over my mountain bike’s fatter handlebars, but it works great on all of our other bikes – all seven of them.

AirBell Pricing and Availability
There are, of course, e-bikes with built-in AirTag trackers, but those things aren’t very affordable to start with yet. But with AirBell you can get the opportunity to find a lost or stolen bike for fifty dollars (AirBell + AirTag).
Those who have a spare AirTag lying around somewhere only need to spend $25 to get an AirBell.
