Amazon is hosting a second Prime Day this year. The Prime Early Access Sale event will take place on October 11 and 12.
After weeks of rumors, Amazon has officially announced a second special sale this fall, exclusively for Prime members. This second Prime Day of the year, titled “Prime Early Access Sale “, will take place on October 11 and 12 in fifteen countries, including France.
Amazon is hosting a second Prime Day this year
Amazon Prime Day has historically been an annual event where Prime members have access to thousands of products in online stores. Not only is this a way for Amazon to increase sales during the summer months, but it also allows the company to grow its Prime subscriber base. On July 12 and 13 last year, the previous Prime Day, there were a ton of very good deals on a wide range of home goods, clothing, electronics and more, and the vast majority of them were reserved for Prime members. However, as in previous years, some of them were also available to non-subscribers.
The Prime Early Access Sale event will take place on October 11 and 12.
Since Amazon never hosted a second Prime Day the year before, it’s hard to predict how this will turn out. With the event taking place in mid-October, it should mark, at least unofficially, the start of Amazon’s big holiday season. It’s also possible that discounts offered to Prime members during these two days won’t return until Black Friday or Cyber Monday. This may encourage some customers to prepare their Christmas gifts ahead of time.
Of course, we’ll be back for some of the best deals from this Prime Early Access Sale. If you are looking for specific items, mark them on your calendar and feel free to follow us on social media.
