Features and Specifications
As the name suggests, you can wear the speaker just like any other wireless neckband. The Sony SRS-NS7 Wireless Neckband Speaker is the world’s first neckband speaker to support Dolby Atmos sound. However, this feature will only work with the Sony BRAVIA XR series. In addition, it also features 360-degree surround sound that delivers an optimized cinematic experience with a companion spatial sound personalization app.
You can connect the speaker to a wireless transmitter and connect it to your TV. When connected, the app takes a snapshot of the user’s ear and analyzes the characteristics of hearing by evaluating its 3D shape. This will allow the speaker to offer virtual Dolby Atmos on some Sony TV models. The speaker offers a sound power of 3W + 3W.
The speaker also features a built-in microphone and a play/call button. Inside is an upward-facing X-balanced speaker that delivers sound with less distortion and clearer music as well as vocals. For bass, it is also equipped with passive radiators. The collar is made of fabric and silicone. In terms of battery life, the speaker is rated for up to 12 hours of use with a single replacement, and a quick 10-minute charge will give you 60 minutes of playback.
