As previously announced, Apex Legends Mobile’s regional launch is now available to 10 participating countries. This means that players from these 10 countries will now be able to play the game on their iOS or Android devices. There is a huge amount of content in this particular build of the game, with more to come soon in the global build of the game.
The 10 participating countries that can play Apex Legends Mobile are:
- Australia
- New Zealand
- Singapore
- Malaysia
- Philippines
- Indonesia
- Mexico
- Peru
- Argentina
- Colombia
Players from these countries will be able to download and play the game on Android and iOS from 4:00 PM on March 7 (Pacific Standard Time). We hope that the global launch will happen soon, once all the developers have collected enough compelling feedback from the regional launch to improve the overall quality of the game when the time comes for the global launch.
Apex Legends Mobile Regional Launch Now Live
Respawn Entertainment shared the key directions for the regional launch, highlighting matchmaking and progression systems, server infrastructure and in-game trading, and regional real-time experiences. Users in participating countries will be able to directly share feedback with developers, allowing them to focus on key aspects of the game.
Apex Legends Mobile is being developed by Respawn Entertainment in partnership with Lightspeed & Quantum Studios. The developers have also confirmed that it will be a standalone game, independent of the console/PC version, and that the game will not feature crossplay.
The regional launch build will contain less content compared to the global launch, but there is still plenty to enjoy. Players will be able to choose from 9 Legends with Caustic, which will only be playable after unlocking the 25th level of the Battle Pass.
The only map available in the regional launch will be World’s Edge. Game modes include Team Deathmatch, Mini Battle Royale, 3v3 Arena and Ranked Battle Royale. Players will also be able to create and join clubs in the regional build of the game.
