Apex Legends Mobile Coming Soon to Select Regions

Respawn Entertainment’s mobile version of Battle Royale is coming to multiple regions next week.

Respawn Entertainment announces that Apex Legends Mobile will be available on Android and iOS in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina and Colombia starting February 28th. As with consoles and PC, Apex Legends Mobile will be free-to-play and will not include any paid advantage items. It will have its own battle passes, collectible cosmetics, and unique unlockables.

“At the end of this month, we will begin the first Apex Legends Mobile regional beta tests. This is a great moment for our team. Two years ago we changed the battle royale landscape and now we want to do it again on mobile,” said Chad Grenier, game director at Respawn Entertainment. “Apex Legends Mobile is purpose-built for touch screens, with streamlined controls and thoughtful optimizations that deliver the most advanced BR available on a smartphone. This is a new version of Apex Legends, but it stays true to the original. We started small – a few thousand players in India and the Philippines – but over the course of the year, we’re looking to expand the game to other regions and players around the world. ”
