Apple will dominate the US headphone market

Apple will dominate the US headphone market. Apple and Beats are ahead of Bose, Samsung, JBL, Sony and others.

When we think of headphones and other headphones, we often think of specialist audio brands like Bose, Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, Bowers & Wilkins, Sony and others first. That being said, and this is quite interesting if Statista’s data is correct, it would appear that the company currently dominating the US headphone market debate is none other than Apple.

Apple will dominate the US headphone market

The report in question claims that, according to a recent study, Apple AirPods and Beats now account for roughly half of the US headphone and headphone market. This conclusion was made as a result of a survey of 4220 adults living in the country. 34% of participants had AirPods and 15% had Beats.

Apple and Beats are ahead of Bose, Samsung, JBL, Sony and others

As for whether it’s surprising, the answer is yes and no. This is surprising, since, admittedly, AirPods and Beats headphones are not really known for the best sound quality. That being said, the way the Cupertino company conceived and developed its products allows them to function perfectly in its ecosystem, and it would seem that this practicality of everyday use tips the balance in favor of the brand’s products at Apple. At least partially.

This poll also showed that third place is currently held by Bose, followed very closely by Samsung, JBL, Sony, Skullcandy and, no less surprisingly, LG. Whether you think Apple or Beats headphones are actually worth the price is a different story, but it’s now clear from this data that buyers are still very much in favor of these brands. Is the situation similar in France?
