According to an article in The Information, the Cupertino-based company recently hired Lauren Fry, a former advertising director, “to help shape the video ad business”for its streaming service. Prior to her previous role at digital advertising company Simulmedia, Lauren worked in advertising sales at AT&T and Comcast.

Offering more ads on Apple TV+ will follow on from some recent Apple brand initiatives. Late last year, the company began running new ads on its App Store, which may have preceded ads in Apple Maps and other software published by the Cupertino company.
