Apple TV for Windows lets you watch your favorite Apple TV+ shows and movies right on your PC, and is in preview later this year.
- What is happening? Microsoft has confirmed that the Apple TV app preview will launch later this year, with a public launch sometime in 2023.

The official Apple TV app for Windows will launch in 2023
This was announced in the official Microsoft blog Panos Panay, director of products for Surface devices. He writes that Microsoft wants to make it easier for you to access “your favorite Apple entertainment”on Windows devices.
“We’re excited to announce that the Apple TV app will launch for Windows next year,”Panay wrote. However, a beta version of the Apple TV app will appear later this year on the Microsoft Store for those who don’t mind testing the pre-release software.
The Apple TV app is now available on Xbox consoles. Microsoft also made other announcements today that will delight Apple customers.
Apple Music is now available on Xbox devices
For example, starting today, you can download Apple Music [link to Microsoft Store] on your Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X consoles. Now you can finally stream your favorite Apple Music artists, playlists, songs, and more on PC with Windows.

Windows Photos integrates with iCloud Photos
In November, the Windows 11 update will bring iCloud Photos to those using the iCloud for Windows software [Windows Store link] by integrating it with the built-in Microsoft Photos app. Currently, iCloud Photos only integrates with File Explorer.
The upcoming integration will allow you to access any iCloud photos and videos from your iPhone in the Windows Photos app. The Windows maker has confirmed that preview versions of these apps will launch in the Microsoft Store later this year.
