Asus has announced the first sale of the top-of-the-line version of its ROG Phone 5 gaming smartphone. Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate will go on sale on Flipkart on December 26th, starting at noon on that date. The phone with a whopping 18GB of RAM will retail for $1,056 and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset. This is the world’s first smartphone with 18 GB of RAM and it is expected to go on sale pretty soon. The Asus ROG Phone 5 is one of the best gaming phones on the market this year.

The Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate has a monochrome PMOLED display on the back that matches the frosted glass back and storm white color of the device. It also supports Asus Air Trigger which allows gamers to use up to 10 motion control gestures and can also be customized. The screen on the front features Samsung’s 144Hz Super AMOLED display with 24.3ms ultra-low touch lag, high color fidelity and support for HDR10+ playback.
In addition, the phone is powered by a 6000 mAh battery and, as mentioned earlier, is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an ESS Saber DAC and headphone amplifier are integrated inside. There is also a dual camera setup on the back with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP macro camera. There is a 24MP camera on the front of the phone. The phone has 512 GB of memory.
However, the gaming possibilities do not end there. The device also features a unique “ammunition”packaging that allows ammunition to be unpacked in augmented reality (AR).
