Bandai Namco Partners with Shadow to Leverage Cloud Computing Technologies

Shadow and Bandai Namco Europe announce the signing of a technology partnership.

For several months now, Japanese publisher Bandai Namco has been offering a stable and secure environment in the cloud with powerful Shadow Virtual Machines so that journalists and content creators from the EMEA (Europe-Middle East-Africa) zone can test Little Nightmares II from Tarsier Studios, The Dark Pictures Anthology by Supermassive Games or more recently Elden Ring by FromSoftware. With success just around the corner, promising new collaborations focused on B2B cloud innovation are formally planned through a technology partnership between the two companies.

“We were impressed with what Shadow has to offer for both B2B and B2C applications,” said Wouter van Vugt, Director of Press, Communications and Events at Bandai Namco. “We started working with Shadow in 2019 and we have been able to scale the services we deliver in close collaboration with their amazing team and we see unlimited possibilities for the future.”

Eric Sehl, Managing Director of Shadow (an OVH subsidiary), adds: “We are proud to be part of one of the biggest game launch campaigns of the year with our technology, which gives journalists and talent the ability to connect via the cloud and play this unique game from Houses. This collaboration highlights our ability to innovate and marks the start of a great year for our company, both for our users and our partners. “
