Rs 3 crore BGMI Lan to be hosted by Nodwin Gaming and Star Sports in India: first televised event

Gurgaon-based esports organization Nodwin games has teamed up with Star Sports to host an exclusive BGMI Lan Event with a prize pool of Rs 3 crore. The event will be televised and will be the first televised event in India.

BGMI Esports is setting new standards this year with several tournaments stoking the interest of the Indian gaming community. Several event organizers are trying to raise BGMI Esports by organizing various LAN events in the country. Due to the pandemic, LAN events have become more difficult last year. This year, the events are back, with events in a row appearing in the queue. The Nodwin x Star Sports BGMI LAN event will be even more special as the event will be broadcast live on TV.

This event is an exclusive tournament in which we will see the best teams in the country fighting for this huge prize pool. Moreover, the prize money of the event surpassed that of the first season of BMPS to become the largest prize money for an Indian esports event.

A set of 24 teams will be divided into three groups, and the initial stage will be played in a round-robin system, where each team will play 4 matches per day. The top 16 teams overall will advance to the Grand Final. The event will last a month and will be held from June 20 to July 17, 2022.

Fans can go to the court to witness all the action, watching their favorite players from the smallest distance possible. The event will be covered by multiple media partners and we will also see player interaction on Star Sports. Stay tuned for more information on this LAN mega event.
