The BGMI Open Challenge (BMOC) 2022 is underway and the tournament is going well despite allegations of hacking attacks against various teams. Krafton previously announced that they will be hosting BMPS Season 1 (Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series) after the conclusion of BMOC.
The BMOC will end soon as the event has moved into the final stage i.e. the 4th round. The 4th round of the BGMI Open Challenge was scheduled to take place from May 11 to 14, in which the top 6 teams from four groups would qualify. BMPS C1. BMPS S1 will be the second major event after BGIS 2021. Let’s dive in and learn more about this major prize money esports event in India.
Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series – BMPS Season 1 format and prize pool

The BMPS S1 will have a prize pool of INR 2 crore, which will be the largest prize pool for an esports event in the country. The top 6 teams from the four BMOC Round 4 groups will advance to the BMPS S1 and thus compete for the ultimate championship and prize pool.
Format
The Battlegrounds Mobile Pro series is expected to consist of two stages: the league stage and the finals. The league stage will be attended by 24 teams that have passed the 4th round of the BMOC, which will be held from May 19 to June 5, 2022.
The 24 qualifying teams will be divided into three groups and will play 24 matches each week (6 matches per day). Each team will play 4 round robin matches per day for a total of 16 matches per week.
The top 16 players in the league stage will advance to the BMPS S1 final, which will be held from June 9 to 12, 2022. The team with the most points on the last day of the final will be considered the BMP Season 1 champion.
