BGMI developers, Krafton, have just released another player sanction list that lists a total of 41,898 accounts that were permanently banned between April 11 and 17. Fraud and the use of third party applications and programs have become quite common at BGMI. which is why Crafton has been consistently banning players for some time now.
While on the one hand it’s good that Krafton bans cheating in the game, it also means that cheating is still a major problem in the game. Players can view the list of players permanently banned from the game on the official blog (link here).
In addition to sanctions against cheaters, the developers have also recently released a new patch to fix some bugs and issues in the game. This included fixing an issue that caused the speed to periodically increase from Nimbus Island and that caused the player sensitivity code to not apply.
BGMI banned 41,898 players between April 11 and 17.
Cheating is one of the main contributing factors to the game’s decline in popularity, as it essentially robs players of the enjoyment of the game, forcing players to either stop playing or move on to other games. Even though BGMI is still extremely popular in India, the gaming community has been vocal about rampant cheating in the game.
In addition, the community has been very vocal about their demand for a “lite”version of the game. Essentially, “BGMI Lite”would be the version of the game best suited for low-end smartphones, and it has consistently been one of the most popular claims in the gaming community.
Even though Crafton hasn’t directly confirmed the development of BGMI Lite, reviews and polls on the official Discord channel for the game indicate that the developers may be looking into it.
