Proletariat is joining forces with Blizzard Entertainment to expand the development of World of Warcraft, the acclaimed MMORPG that still attracts millions of players worldwide.
While Proletariat has been working with the World of Warcraft development team since last May, the independent studio behind Asheron’s Call, Lord of the Rings Online, Dungeons & Dragons Online and most recently Spellbreak will be completely taken over by Blizzard Entertainment in the next few months. The American publisher wants to support its teams on a creative and cultural level by creating AAA experiences in its iconic franchises, attracting the best talent in the industry, in particular game services specialists.
