The day came when the fourth day of the BMPS Season 1 Grand Finals ended, the final tournament. In the end, Team Soul became the reigning champions of this mega-official event from Krafton, Iqoo Esports. The team scored a total of 335 points over four days with 166 eliminations. Goblin alone had 71 finishes while Akshat had 40 kills for the team.
Outrageously dominated champions, Team Soul won a prize pool of Rs 75,000, the overall title and the BMPS trophy. The team also won the award for the most finishes, Goblin won the MVP title and 3 Player of the Day awards and Akshat won the Lone Survivor award which earned them a prize pool of almost 10 lakhs.
OR Esports finally had a great day and managed to move up to second position and become a running back earning 35 lakh. Enigma Gaming played brilliantly and showed some solid gameplay which resulted in them finishing in second place behind Soul and OR. They were rewarded with 20 lakh rupees. Global Esports placed fourth, while FS, Nigma, Big Brother Esports, and XO placed fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth respectively.
Teams like XO, Hyderabad Hydras, 7Sea and Hydra who did well in the league stage didn’t get a chance to put on a great show for their fans in the final. Underdog teams such as R Esports, Autobotz, WSF, and Kinetic have outraged Tier 1 teams in the BMOC, which is considered a big achievement for them, and they have achieved it. They may be invited to the next official BGMI and Krafton event.
