BTS Gives You Dance Lessons at Apple Fitness+

For International Dance Day, Apple Fitness+ is going to stock up on workouts with workouts to BTS, ABBA or Queen songs.

Get ready to work on the Dynamite choreography. Apple has a few surprises planned for Fitness+ for International Dance Day on April 29th, and the most exciting one will probably be the introduction of dance routines with world famous K-pop group BTS. Thanks to a good relationship with the group, the Cupertino-based company will allow Fitness+ users to choreograph several songs such as Dynamite, Mic Drop, and Permission to Dance.

Apple Fitness+ fills with exercise for International Dance Day

BTS’ first dance video will be released next week, but Apple will also be bringing new content to its Artist Spotlight series. In addition to music from BTS, Fitness+ will also feature playlists from ABBA and Queen. Every Monday for four weeks there will be new exercises with each artist in different categories such as Strength, HIIT, Treadmill, Cycling, Yoga, Pilates and Dance.

There will also be new dance routines featuring songs from other artists, including classes led by coach John Gonzalez in genres such as cumbia, tango or Indian pop. And while the Fitness+ team usually come up with their own choreography, for BTS videos they will teach you the South Korean group’s own moves.

Those who do their best on April 29 can even win limited edition rewards and animated Messages stickers. This will require you to work on the exercise for at least 20 minutes, and Fitness+ will allocate six sessions of that duration to help you earn those rewards.

On April 25, Apple will also release a new collection of dance exercises for beginners, three 20-minute guides. There will also be 3 30-minute options that are more performance oriented, with categories such as 1980s classic, Latin music and hip hop.

The Apple brand should also add more exercises based on BTS music in the near future. To be continued!
