Call of Duty Season 10: Shadows Return is almost here, and it brings a lot of new things to the game, including Templar-Unredeemed as part of the new Quest for Stansfield themed event launching this season. Season 10 begins November 15 at 4:00 PM PT.
As with every new season, players will have the opportunity to earn 50 new tiers of Battle Pass rewards. Templar-Unredeemed and Stansfield are two new characters introduced to Call of Duty Mobile this season, while the “Search for Stansfield”event sees players looking for a missing agent on the game’s newest multiplayer map, Vacant. Along with new characters, Season 10 will feature two new weapons – the CBR4 submachine gun and the SVD semi-automatic sniper rifle.
What’s new in Call of Duty Mobile Season 10: Shadows Return?
New card is free
The map, first introduced in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, is located in an abandoned office building in Pripyat, Ukraine. The indoor office space creates a rather claustrophobic experience that can be extremely difficult to control as the action comes at the player hard and fast. The many blind spots in each room make the map quite challenging indoors, but outdoors, players need enough respite to get their bearings and get back into the fight.
Vacant is one of COD’s most iconic maps and has been featured in many games including COD Mobile. The map is medium in size and provides just enough variety in terms of pace to keep things interesting.
New themed event – Standfield Search
Players will join forces to help Templar-Unredeemed find Stanfield by unlocking nodes and earning EX and themed rewards. The event will take place on the newest map – Vacant.
New Weapons and MP Mode – Control
The CBR4 SMG is a bit like an updated version of the P90 and offers a high rate of fire as well as decent recoil control. The SVD semi-automatic sniper rifle replaces the stop before a higher rate of fire and is a worthy proposition for players who like fast sniper rifles.
The new MP Mode-Control emphasizes teamwork as each team takes turns attacking and defending capture points, but with a limited respawn time, like a mixture of dominance and search and destroy.
