Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Crash Fix Update

Infinity Ward fixes a crash issue in groups in Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Please update your game as soon as possible.

Starting a new game is never easy. And when, in addition, millions of players around the world are waiting for the game, the task is huge. This assumes that the game’s code isn’t (too) full of bugs, that the infrastructure can handle crowds, and that attackers aren’t coming in to put their two cents into the game. Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has been fairly quiet despite a rather annoying bug that many fans may have encountered.

Infinity Ward Fixes Group Crash Issue in Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2

If Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 crashes when you try to play with a group of friends, you should download and install the latest update as soon as possible. Indeed, in a tweet spotted by Eurogamer, developer Infinity Ward explained that he was informed that “some players are experiencing crashes during their games.”A few hours later, the studio announced that they would be releasing a patch. The patch in question is now live and available to all Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 players. “Players in groups should see a massive improvement,” Infinity Ward explained.

Update your game ASAP

This fix comes as the studio is having to address a number of issues found during the launch of Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2, such as a bug preventing players from accessing the in-game menu when they are in the middle of a match. Another issue fixed by Infinity Ward was creating an audio continuity issue on the PlayStation 4. The studio was also forced to disable Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2’s ping system after some found it could be used to stalk an enemy during a game.

Thank you for your patience. Tomorrow morning (PDT) we will roll out measures to address the disruption related to parties. Update to follow. https://t.co/w9ab6BGk8h
