Call of Duty Modern Warfare II launches October 28, 2022 and will see the return of iconic, fan-favorite characters like Simon “Ghost”Riley and John “Soap”McTavish. The game was announced earlier this year and will pick up where the 2019 game left off, with Captain John Price assembling the infamous Task Force 141.
The announcement of the launch date was quite a cinematic experience, as the team maneuvered a huge cargo ship into the port of Long Beach that had a Modern Warfare II Wraith wrap featuring the Ghost. Considering the reception and acclaim Modern Warfare 2019 has received, it’s safe to say that expectations for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II are quite high.
More than anything, fans are looking forward to another rollercoaster campaign like the one Infinity Ward has proven it can pull off again and again.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II releases October 28, 2022
While Call of Duty has always had a strong focus on the multiplayer side of things, the Modern Warfare franchise consistently delivers great campaigns. This is a pretty important period for COD fans as it currently appears the franchise won’t be releasing any major games in 2023 – deciding to break the yearly release cycle that Activision has maintained since 2005. remains to be seen, but it looks like COD MWII, along with the new Warzone, will be the two COD games that players will play until 2023.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare II releases on October 28, 2022, and there will most likely be closed and open beta/alpha tests prior to launch.
