Call of Duty Vanguard: Captain America and Indiana Jones may appear in the game in a crossover

Call of Duty Vanguard got off to a good start as the game continued the tradition of the series by providing players with a quality, fast-paced AAA multiplayer experience as well as a solid single-player campaign. Over time, Call of Duty has taken the path of Fortnite, introducing crossover events and bringing iconic and familiar IPs to COD via Warzone or the ever-evolving multiplayer.

From John Rambo to Die Hard’s John McClain, the show has built up a pretty solid roster of crossover characters. Now it looks like two entertainment industry icons and classic World War II staples are now making their way to COD – Captain America and Indiana Jones.

This pairing makes a lot of sense for Call of Duty Vanguard as they were both closely tied to the Vanguard setting during World War II and players will no doubt enjoy playing as two of the most iconic characters in entertainment history. This leak came to light through data mining by ModenasHD, which found promotional images as well as filenames that suggest a season 4 crossover event called “American Heroes”.

While Season 4 may still be a long way off, it will be great because players are still playing Vanguard right now. COD Vanguard is a pretty solid deal at launch, but as is the case with most live service games, it only gets better with time and the development team is introducing new content such as maps, specialists/operators, and modes. As of now, Sledgehammers Games has yet to confirm the crossover, so it’s possible that plans could change in the near future.
