Call of Duty Vanguard, the latest installment in the COD franchise, is currently available to play for free this week. Players will be able to jump right into Vanguard’s multiplayer mode and enjoy a variety of gameplay offerings such as the new Mayhem multiplayer map, Arms Race, Ship House, and more.
Players will have access to all Call of Duty Vanguard multiplayer modes and maps from May 18 to May 24. This free access period coincides with the introduction of the Mayhem season 3 starter card. The newest map in the game is a 1950s monster movie that adds a level of camp and fun that COD fans can appreciate.
The map is more than just a bunch of monster movies, as there’s a lot going on in the outskirts of the metropolis.

Free access to Call of Duty Vanguard multiplayer will last until May 24
This is a great chance for potential Call of Duty Vanguard buyers to familiarize themselves with all the multiplayer modes and maps in the game in order to decide whether to buy the game or not. This isn’t the first time the game has had a free access period, as Vanguard has been available for free-to-play multiplayer over the past few months.
Vanguard, despite its flaws, is a pretty solid COD multiplayer game that offers players the same fast-paced, hard-hitting shooter that fans have come to love. Although the game reportedly fell short financially, it is still a big success by today’s standards and adds new modes with every new update.
The Call of Duty franchise is still going strong and fans can expect to hear more from Infinity Ward about the upcoming Modern Warfare II as the game is due out in 2022.
