The dual SIM capabilities come to the rescue when one of your iPhone’s carriers falls behind in service quality. It’s also handy when you need multiple phone numbers. But the process of switching mobile operators is cumbersome and leaves much to be desired.
iOS developer Netskao has recognized this frustrating experience and has created a new free jailbreak called CCSIM that should make using a dual-SIM iPhone less cumbersome and much more user-friendly.
As you might expect from the title and the example screenshots above, CCSIM adds a dual-SIM oriented switch to your Control Center interface, making it easy to turn one of your cellular carriers on or off right from ease of management. Center rather than navigating through Apple’s cellular settings maze.
When you press the CCSIM toggle button, you will be presented with a menu that allows you to turn on and off each of your two cellular carriers independently. If they are enabled, the option to disable them is displayed, and vice versa.
Since CCSIM is a Control Center add-on, it’s not surprising that it adds a new item to the Preferences → Control Center preference pane so you can enable or disable a toggle button based on the Control Center on demand:
If you are a dual SIM user and want to better use the features above, you can get the CCSIM jailbreak tweak for free from the BigBoss repository through your favorite package management app. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS 13 and 14 devices.
