Beloved baseball game series MLB The Show returns with an annual sequel. It seems that the developers at San Diego Studio have heard all the praise and criticism of the previous release, spending their time improving the game in almost every aspect. One of the major improvements is an update to the game’s career mode, where players can create their own ballplayer. But what is a two-way player in MLB The Show 23?
MLB The Show 23 – Two Way Player Update
Two Way Player refers to the position your ball player can choose. Over the years, the best part of The Show series has always been the career mode. Players can go to the big leagues as an up-and-coming ballplayer. When you start creating your own ballplayer for the Road to Show mode, you will have the option to choose your player’s position. You can be a pitcher, a position player, or a two-way player. Pitchers will be solely focused on throwing all the best pitches they have up their sleeves. While position players will perform the rest of the duties of the team, infielder, outfielder or catcher.
But Two Way Player lets you play both. Now you can play as a pitcher and a forward in the same match. This is a noticeable change from the previous game, where you were a two-way player in name only. After you select the Two Way Player option. Now you can choose which area of your position you will focus on. The Two Way Player option is best for new players who want to experience everything the game has to offer.
