COD Modern Warfare 2 offers a wide variety of weapons and different weapon platforms. Having said that, melee weapons are no exception to this collection. Knives are one of the melee weapons, the most preferred choice for close combat. As you progress, you can get a combat knife. But some players are unable to find and equip this weapon. How to equip a combat knife in Modern Warfare 2
You can equip your combat knife by editing your custom gear in MW2. Follow the steps below to equip your Combat Knife:
- First, go to the “Weapons”tab/section in the main menu.
- Now create or edit custom equipment.
- Hover over the secondary weapon and select the Swap option.
- Navigate and navigate to the melee weapon option.
- Choose a combat knife to equip it as a secondary weapon.
Before you can equip a combat knife, you also need to unlock that melee weapon in MW2 first. You can unlock the Combat Knife by increasing your rank to 17.
But pay attention not to include the Overkill perk in your gear. If you use this skill, you may not be able to use the knife as a secondary weapon. So be sure to change your perks before you equip this melee weapon.
