Code Quantum: NBC orders reboot

The new iteration of Code Quantum will air on NBC this fall.

Written and directed by Steven Lilien and Brian Winbrandt, produced by Martin Gero, Code Quantum creator and producer Don Bellisario, and produced and co-narrated by Deborah Pratt, the new Code Quantum television series will be set in the present day. 30 years ago, Dr. Sam Beckett entered the Code Quantum quantum accelerator and disappeared. A new team has been assembled to revive the project in hopes of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it.

The cast consists of Raymond Lee as Dr. Ben Song (replacing Scott Bakula and Dr. Sam Beckett), Caitlin Bassett, Ernie Hudson as Magic, a former military man and leader of the Quantum Code. project, Mason Alexander Park as Ian, chief architect of the Code Quantum artificial intelligence program, and Nanris Lee. Note that the reboot is being directed by Universal Television with Steven Lilien and Brian Winbrandt as executive producers on I’ve Got an Idea!. Entertainment, Don Bellisario of Belisarius Productions and Martin Gero of Quinn’s House Productions.
