The Cyberpunk 2077 Next Generation Free Update is now available for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The next-gen update comes with a massive update, patch 1.5, which introduces a ton of new elements to the game, including the ability to customize and rent new apartments for V.
Perhaps to let players know what they’re buying, Cyberpunk 2077 is also offering a 5-hour free trial. This should allow players to get a feel for what the game looks like now and whether it’s worth paying money for. In addition, the game is also available at a discount on all digital stores.
Patch 1.5 for Cyberpunk 2077 includes improvements for PC, Stadia and consoles. Exclusive next-gen enhancements include ray-traced local light shadows, 60fps performance mode with 4K dynamic scaling, and ray-traced mode.

Apartments
The apartments can be rented (with a one-time payment) if they meet in Night City, or through the EZEstates website when accessed via a computer in Vee’s apartment in the H10 mega building. They become available after completing the “Time Attack”quest. It is possible to rent all apartments at the same time. All apartments share the same stash.
Available apartments:
- Northside, Watson (€5,000)
- Japantown, Westbrook (€15,000)
- Glen, Heywood (€40,000)
- Corpo Plaza, City Center (€55,000)
In addition, you can now set up Vee’s starter apartment in the H10 megabuilding via the EZEstates website for €10,000.
Appearance customization
- You can now customize certain features of your appearance (such as hair, makeup, piercings, etc.) when using a mirror in any of your apartments and hideouts. It’s free and you can do it as often as you like. Character customization also includes more makeup and hair color options.
LIVING CITY
Combat AI
- Numerous fixes and improvements to the AI and NPC reactions in melee and ranged combat, including cover, positioning, reloading, weapon equipping, dodging, blocking, and more.
- Multiple improvements to dismemberment triggers, hit reactions, and death animations to improve ranged and melee combat.

- Followers now contribute more to combat, but can be defeated and temporarily disabled if they receive enough punishment.
- Numerous fixes and balance changes in combat with netrunners.
