The date of the broadcast of the very first Cyberpunk animated series for the streaming platform Netflix has become known.
Along with the bloody and bouncy trailer, CD Projekt RED introduces an all-new Cyberpunk Edgerunners poster featuring one of the series’ key characters, namely the brilliant Lucy, a skilled net runner and an important member of the Maine mercenary team. Despite her sought-after technical abilities, she desires nothing more than to flee Night City and its dangerous past.
Lucy? Preem runner, incomparable in many ways. It may look innocent, but piss her off and she’ll kill you in no time.

For reference, Cyberpunk Edgerunners tells the story of David Martinez, a street urchin trying to survive in a futuristic city obsessed with technology and body modification. After a personal tragedy, he decides to take his fate into his own hands by becoming an edge runner, a criminal mercenary, also known as cyberpunk.

Trigger’s Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime series (with Hiroyuki Imaishi directing, Yo Yoshinari designing the characters as executive animation director, Masahiko Otsuka and Yoshiki Usa writing the script, and Akira Yamaoka composing original music) will be available from September 13 next year. on Netflix. All ten episodes will air simultaneously.
