Realme is preparing to launch a new budget smartphone. The company has confirmed the launch date for Realme 9i. The budget 4G smartphone from Realme will be officially presented on January 18th. The company sent out invitations to the media confirming the launch. Realme launched the device earlier this month in Vietnam.
The phone has some of the design elements of the premium GT Neo 2. It has a Snapdragon 680 4G processor under the hood. There is also a triple camera on the back. Let’s take a look at the Realme 9i launch, specs, features and other details.

Realme 9i will debut on January 18th. The company has already confirmed that a blue color variant of the device will be launched. It is also said to be the first smartphone with Snapdragon 680 SoC in this segment.

According to a recent leak, the Realme 9i could be priced at $196. The device is also reported to come with multiple storage options. We can expect the phone to come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, as well as a 6GB RAM option.
Specifications and Features
Realme’s budget smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC. It has a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging via USB Type-C. There is a triple camera on the back of the phone. It has a 50MP main camera sensor paired with two 2MP sensors for macro and depth sensing.
At the front is a tall 6.6-inch IPS LCD with 480 nits of brightness. It has a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The phone comes with a hole-punch cutout in the top left corner of the screen for the front camera. It also supports 90Hz refresh rate.
For selfies, the device has a 16-megapixel front camera. It comes with Realme 2.0 UI based on Android 11 out of the box. There is a side fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock. The phone weighs 190 grams and is 8.4mm thick.
