PUBG New State was recently scheduled for a major update in December, so the game was closed for maintenance yesterday. However, it now looks like the developers have postponed the update scheduled for December and will update the community on the new maintenance schedule shortly.
The update will introduce a bunch of new stuff to PUBG New State like the new Bullpup assault rifle, the L85A3, as well as the new roomy Electron car. The update looked like it was one of the biggest for the game, and looks like it might need a little more development time before it’s ready for release.
December 9th PUBG New State Update Delayed
As a small reward for patience, players will receive 5,000 BP as well as 2 Royale Chest Tickets to their in-game mail. Patch 0.9.2 is one of the first few major updates for PUBG New State and includes a wide range of new content as well as smaller quality of life improvements. It was clear that the update would require quite a lot of work, and the delay seems natural given its scale and scope.
In the past, PUBG New State patches have accidentally created more issues in an attempt to fix other bugs and glitches, which then required additional patches to fix. Trying, perhaps, to avoid these hassles, the developers are not in a hurry with a new update. This is ultimately the best move for both the developers and the player as it essentially saves them from having to download more updates and patches.
The latest PUBG New State update can be manually downloaded via the Google Play Store or App Store, or the player will be prompted to do so when downloading the game.
